Studio Footage

Happy Easter to you. I’m home and recovered from a long tour across the U.S. with Socks in the Frying Pan and I’m now back into the swing of things with my solo album. I plan on releasing the first single next month, so keep an eye out for that.

But before then I have a few short clips to show you taken while in studio.

I’ve had some brilliant musicians recording with me in The Production Suite, so I thought I’d give you a sneak peak at some of the work that’s been going on during the making of ‘Gaps Between Stars’.

Here is a clip of Aongus Ralston laying down some bass guitar for ‘Lay My Body Down’ along with Kealan Kenny on lap steel and electric guitar for ‘Brave’ and ‘Changing Tune’.

I’m really looking forward to showing you the finished product. Soon 🙂

On other news, I’m finally starting to get a few solo gigs on the calendar. It’s proving difficult as a new artist on the scene, but I’ll be adding to it and building an album launch tour over the next month. You can keep an eye out for new dates here.

I’m also beginning a PR campaign shortly. This is very new territory for me so if anyone has any suggestions of radio programs or DJs that may like the music or even if you know of some nice small venues to play, please do let me know. It’s all very helpful. Or if you’d like to drop me a line directly you can contact me here.

So overall it’s been a fairly busy start to the year, split between being on the road and finishing things off in studio. I traveled from East to West coast across America with The Socks. Amazing experience. I learnt a lot and made some great contacts. If I can start to get some momentum with my solo music now I’ll be in a good place.

Chat soon, and thanks again for all the support. It’s a privilege to be able to do what I love for a living and I really wouldn’t be able to continue doing so without you.
